Does online yoga really work?
It works. Online yoga keeps the traditional benefits of the practice: mobility, strength, breathing, relaxation and consistency. The difference is in the format. In a live class the teacher can see you and give guidance during the practice, which helps beginners a lot. It is not the same as having someone next to you adjusting your body with their hands, but real-time guidance does make a difference.
What you gain practicing online
You practice from home, with no travel, at the time that fits your routine.
Access to live classes with a teacher and, in many plans, recordings to review.
More consistency: it is easier to keep the habit when the class comes to you.

Can the teacher correct me through the screen?
In a live class the teacher sees you through the camera and gives guidance to adjust your posture. It is not the same as in-person correction with touch, but real-time guidance helps you practice better and more safely.
Online or in-person: which is better?
Each has its advantages. Online wins on convenience, cost and consistency. In-person wins on hands-on adjustment. For many people, live online is the ideal balance.
